Kent Rasmussen Winery: Our Wines



			Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the flagship wines for the Kent Rasmussen Winery label – the wines that have made us famous. For those of you who are “Pinot-philes”, you know that Pinot can be either wonderful, or abysmal. Since 1986, Kent has worked magic with this difficult wine, and has earned his reputation as one of California’s finest Pinot Noir winemakers.
			Ramsay is a second label for us, and these wines are of very fine quality at a wonderful price. (Your favorite restaurant may have them available by the glass!) Celia's last name may be on the bottle, but Kent is very much the winemaker of these wines.
			Petite Sirah is the cornerstone wine for the Esoterica label. The idea behind this label is simple; California is a great place to grow grapes and make wine, but we have become psychologically dependent upon only a few varieties. Esoterica will explore these varieties and hopefully provide some sort of “spark” for the wider acceptance of grapes that are “different”!
